After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
- recognize essential measuring instruments in the field of wastewater treatment and explain the principle of operation
- reproduce simple control concepts for wastewater treatment
- organize and visualize operational data of wastewater treatment plants
You will be introduced to process measuring and control technology, which is needed for the operation of a wastewater treatment plant, and have a close look at the lab-scale plant in the Von der Emde-Technikum. Data surveys, evaluations and calculations will be carried out. In detail, the following topics are covered in this tutorial:
Lecture, group work, discussion of case studies.
