Design of hydropower projects - economic feasibuility study. Conception of multipurpose projects - dam construction - hydraulic problems of the dam operation facilities. Special types of hydropower schemes.

Besides ex-cathedra teaching of special of hydraulic engineering chapters different complex hydraulic phenomena at hydraulic structures wil be discussed by means of selected case studies.

Checking of the content of teaching by an oral examination respectively presentation of design proposals for a specified hydraulic problem.
