Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop new ideas or methods in the area of communication networks/network security. They are then an expert authority, can lead a project team, as well as carry out research and development in the field.

Subject of course

Scientific guidance of a doctors thesis. Research areas are communication networks and network security 

Teaching methods

The scientific methodology is conveyed in scholarly discussions. The doctoral students present their scientific hypotheses for discussion. Results are published at workshops and conferences and in international peer reviewed scientific journals.
