Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe, model, simulate and analyze systems from differen physical domains. These include

  • elastic mechanical structures and
  • heat transfer systems.

Subject of course

Selected topics for the mathematical modeling of complex dynamical systems from different (coupled) physical domains (elastic mechanical structures, heat transfer systems, etc.).

The performance is evaluated in an oral exam in presence, which can take place at any time Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 20:00.
