Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • solve simple problems in the field of digital systems
  • understand and interpret the basic principles of modern semiconductor elements with special focus on power electronic components
  • understand principle and operation of simple electronic circuits as well as power converters and inverters also when in combination with DC machines
