After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply and to realize the respective knowledge of the accompanying lecture, to solve representative problems; to perform demonstrations and simple measurements on electrical engineering models, systems and devices in the laboratory.

In order to complete the LVA "UE Elektrotechnik 1" positively, it is necessary to
 

   -  pass 3 exams (= written tests), each with at least 14 out of 30 points,
   -  complete 4 laboratory exercises (interest, good preparation for the respective topic, punctuality, active committed participation),
   -  as well as to achieve a total (through written exams and laboratory exercises) of at least 52 points (out of a possible 112).

 Participation in the weekly computational exercises, in which problems are presented and solution strategies are worked out, as well as in the laboratory exercises is obligatory. In the event of more than 4 unexcused absences from the exercises (proof of illness, professional incapacity), the LVA will be assessed with "Nicht Genügend" (N5).
