After successful completion of the course, students are able to to apply the basic concepts and empirical theorems of the electric field, of the steady-state electrical flow field, and steady-state magnetic field. Likewise, students know basic circuit elements and circuits that can be implemented with them on a theoretical basis.
Basic phenomena of the (quasi)static electric field and the steady-state magnetic field, the steady-state electric current field and simple methods for their calculation. Laws of simple circuit elements (sources, resistor, capacitor, inductor, non-linear elements/diode) and circuits that can be realized with them.
Established methods of university didactics
Obligatory written examination.
Not necessary
Good knowledge of physics and mathematics at a secondary school level.
