After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand fundamental physiological, physical and bioelectrical aspects of biophysics. They are further able to describe methods for bioelectrical measurements (e.g. Biointerfaces, patch-clamping, recording of biosignals using microelectrodes). The participants know basic methods for analyzing biosignals and are competent to summmarize some basic results of modern brain research. At the end of the lecture, the students will know the basic cell culture techniques and also the more common methods for their histomorphological and phenotypical characterization
The lecture part of this LVA will be offered as a block course in march in the seminar room 362-1 in the second floor of the building CH, Nano-center Campus Gusshausstrasse 25-25a. Registration in TISS.
