Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to students are able to describe simple quantum mechanical systems such as one-dimensional potential pots or tunnel structures and to calculate the associated wave functions and energies. Furthermore, after positive completion, students are able to describe simple components such as diodes, tunnel diodes and light emitting diodes.
