Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • scientifically investigate current challenges in the field of microelectronics, especially as it relates to the fabrication of novel devices or sensors.
  • adequately present and defend their research results before a professional audience.
  • evaluate scientific publications in their own research area and recognize possible implications on their own work.

Subject of course

Discussion of scientific topics in connection with current dissertations, at the moment the simulation of technological processes and the electrical behavior of semiconductor devices. Support of PhD students in their scientific work.
