Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to assess the various application areas of Computational Science and Engineering and the potentially arising ethical aspects in the spirit of the TU Wien slogan Technology for People as well as the role within digitalization. The lecture thus conveys essential basic understanding of Computational Science and Engineering. In particular, the various specialization areas of the master's program are introduced.

The interactively conveyed knowledge of the lecture will be complemented by multimedia-based material and practical examples.
