After successful completion of the course, students are able to name the institutes of the faculty of electrical engineering and information technology, and to describe the fields these institutes work in.
This - obligatory - course gives an orientation for first year students in the field of Electrical Engineering and in the study program of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Students have to attend a minimum of 7 (out of 10) institute's presentations to get a positive grade ("mit Erfolg teilgenommen") in their transcript of records.
