After successful completion of the course, students are able to name the institutes of the faculty of electrical engineering and information technology, and to describe the fields these institutes work in.

This - obligatory - course gives an orientation for first year students in the field of Electrical Engineering and in the study program of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Students have to attend a minimum of 7 (out of 9) institute's presentations to get a positive grade ("mit Erfolg teilgenommen") in their transcript of records. 

Welcome Day on Oct 1st at 10:00 a.m. in Lecture Hall EI 7, Campus Gußhaus, ground floor.

During the semester, 7 out of 9 lectures presenting the faculty's institutes must be attended for positive credentials.
