Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • apply the basic methods of factory planning and thus support Greenfield or Brownfield projects. Furthermore, the students gain an understanding of the evaluation criteria of individual layout variants and are thus able to carry out evaluations themselves.

Subject of course

  • New planning of an existing factory layout (ideal and real planning)
  • Selection of a suitable layout variant (evaluation) taking into account all restrictions
  • Planning the implementation of the best possible Variant.
