Topics: Basic terms of management, methods and processes of management. Communication, classification of communication, efficiency of communication, systems. Decision-making and decision making processes. Control processes. Organisation of management, organisational structures. Leadership and management of people.
For the credits students need written and oral exam

The registration mode is the following:
1) Please register until February 24, 2021, 12 am. You will not be registered, but on the waiting list until the registration process is finished. Places on the waiting list are not limited and the rank is irrelevant as the selection will be based on the quality of your motivation letter. If you are number 25 on the list, for example, and the course is limited to 20 students, you have equal chances to participate in this course than people having a lower number. The number only represents the order of registration.
2) Upload a motivation letter on TUWEL (you can do so by self-inscription- please just click the link to the TUWEL course in TISS) until February 24, 2021, 12 am. Your motivation letter contains about 500 words and includes the following:
a. Motivation: Why do you want to participate in this course? Please write about your personal motivation, which is not only about earning ECTS points.
b. Expectations: Describe, in which contents of the course description you are interested in particularly and which competences you want to acquire.
c. Contribution: Describe what you want to contribute personally to make this course successfull.
3) Acceptance or Refusal until March 3, 2021.
Please note that the upload of the motivation letter in combination with the acceptance to participate in the course will be seen as first work performed and your motivation letter will be part of your assessment in the course.
