After successful completion of the course, students are able to compile and work out new and advanced topics in control and automation. They are also able to present the results in a short presentation.
Important topics not covered in the courses "Automatic Control" respectively "Automatic Control for CE", e.g. Fuzzy control, advanced topics in state space control, nonlinear control, adaptive and predictive control, artificial neural nets for modeling and control.
Literature study, comparative analysis of references, hard- and/or software implementation, analytic computations, modeling, parameter identification, controller design, simulation, optimization, presenting techniques.
The control seminar can be completed quite flexible; the formal aspects of the procedure can be indivdually discussed with the supervisor.
The independent execution of the work, the acquisition of new concepts and the correctness of implementations are assessed and rated during the whole course. Additionally, the final presentation as well as a possible written report are included in the overall assessment.
Für die Anmeldung zur Seminararbeit ist der Vortragende jener Vorlesung(en) direkt zu kontaktieren, in dessen Bereich die weiterführende(n) Arbeit(en) liegen sollen.
