Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • understand the structure and operation of continuous simulation systems and their application.
  • describe the basic knowledge of the methodological approach to model building and simulation.

Subject of course

Approaches to modelling and simulation, numeric algorithms, simulation software. Models and modeling of technical systems for continuous simulation, fundamentals of numerical mathematics, introduction to continuous simulation languages, application of simulation systems like MATLAB/Simulink for simulation studies.
