Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to handle a technical problem from the field of fluid mechanics and heat transfer with a clearly defined scope under scientific guidance, i.e. to search for the relevant literature and develop and interpret the necessary basics so that the problem can essentially be solved.

Teaching methods

The bachelor thesis trains the methods previously learned in the course of studies for the analysis, treatment and solution of technical problems in the fields of fluid mechanics and heat transfer. When familiarizing with the professional environment and background of the Bachelor thesis topic, as well as the literature research, the students learn to acquire the necessary information and resources. In the practical handling of the topic, the modeling and solution of a task is learned with appropriate engineering methods. As part of the written documentation of the bachelor thesis and its final presentation, the students learn to demonstrate the results of their work in written and oral form in an appealing way.
