Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to familiarize themselves with subject-specific topics so that they can gain a deep knowledge and are able to lay out the results in a scientific paper.

Subject of course

Automotive technology, engine technology (Otto engine, diesel engine, hybrid systems, fuel cell), energy efficiency, pollutant reduction, alternative fuels (natural gas, biomethane, ethanol, biodiesel), experimental and calculation methods, vehicle acoustics.

Teaching methods

Assignment of a topic in the field of automotive technology. Issue of the guidelines for the written work. Regular exchange about the progress and about the occurrence of problems or ambiguities. Execution of correction or optimization loops.
