Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • analyse future global boundary conditions for automobiles and powertrains respectively
  • derive future powertrains according to future global requirements
  • analyse emissions and energy consumption of future vehicle and powertrain concepts
  • analyse ecological and economical impacts of actual and future energy sources
  • define future powertrain concepts under consideration of new energy sources
