Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to program in the situation tool machines (type Mill and tricks) in conventional kind. Also should serve deas of a tool machine (Mori Seiki NHX6300) are practiced.

Subject of course

Independent creation of NC programs according to different procedures with the focus on the programming of CNC milling machines. For the exercise, a CNC milling simulator (based on a Siem control) is available to deepen the CNC knowledge learned in the lecture using selected examples. At the end of the exercise, an example created on the simulator is implemented after data transmission at a Mori Seiki NHX6300 BAZ.

Explaining, moving and practise beginning in a specially developed simulator, learnt in the form of a housework deepen un afterwards a real work piece in the production machine Mori Seiki NHX in 6300 with all in addition to necessary measurements make

Additional information

At the first practice session, 5 individual appointments (1 day each) will be arranged and at the end another day will be NHX6300 for practical implementation at the MoriSeiki.

According to the current situation (Corona), this exercise is held on site in the laboratory - but if the situation changes, it can be done on distance learning (zoom). More information about this on TUWEL or on the first day of practice. If this takes place as a zoom meeting, an invitation link would follow by e-mail in time after the registration deadline.

ATTENTION: A script for the first steps is available on TUWEL and should have been read and implemented before the first date.

It is recommended to install the simulation software on your own notebook and bring it with you for practice. Software, license and instructions can be found on TUWEL.
