Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • program situation tool machines (type Mill and tricks) the conventional way.
  • independently operate a machine tool of the type Mori Seiki NHX6300.
  • Introduction to CAD/CAM

Subject of course

Individual programming of NC machines for different machining processes and modus. Focus on the programming of CNC Machine lathe, machining center, laser and water cutting machines.

Teaching methods

Explaining, moving and practise beginning in a specially developed simulator, learnt in the form of a housework deepen un afterwards a real work piece in the production machine Mori Seiki NHX in 6300 with all in addition to necessary measurements make

Exercise takes place in several units, the first two of which are scheduled in the TISS. The remaining practice days will be arranged individually.
