After successful completion of the course, students are able to deepen in the lecture bases of the production engineering to provided knowledge mainly in the area of the chip ends manufacturing, however, also in the area of the manufacturing without chip by independent application of the procedures in machines of the lab for production engineering and the lab of the institute of Umformtechnik and high-capacity laser technology

Production of work pieces by means of the procedures wooden processing, forging, welding, milling, drilling, grinding in conventional machines and NC machines 

practical practise with explanations of the technology in the respective machines

INFO for registration: only one LVA registration is not enough, the group registration applies primarily!

With the training period in the lab for production engineering the following is to be followed for safety reasons: - Working clothes (long trousers and long sleeved outerwear - clothes where soiling plays no role) - closed footwear - hair protection (cap, hair-band, etc.) with long hair

Welding gloves, working gloves as well as protective glasses can be acquired if not available at the beginning of the practise in the lab.

Practice hours in principle on the practice days: 8.30 o'clock - 16.00 o'clock

At the end of the practise a protocol is to be provided.

ATTENTION: for HTLer (Mechanical engineering - other disciplines on demand) there is a shortened practise procedure-> own appointment (Proof necessarily)

Abbreviations in the group registration:

H1..  stands for appointment 1 for HTLer (per Semester 2-3 dates, H1,H2,...) 

S1..  stands for appointment 1 in the Sommersemster (per Semester 5-6 dates for 12-20 student each, S1,S2,...)

W1.. stands for appointment 1 in the Wintersemster (per Semester 5-6 dates for 12-20 student each, W1,W2,...)

Immediately after the registration, a schedule with the possible practice days (timeslot 10-12 working days) with instructions and samples will be sent by mail to all (regular places and waiting list places). 

This plan shall include those times when there is a collision with other exercises or exams. Note: The exercise consists of 6 practice days which must be divided into the planned exercise time area. 

In order to be able to implement the blocked exercise scam, however, only a maximum of 2 days can be chosen. This feedback must be forthcoming. 

If this is not done on time, the practice site will be forwarded to students on the waiting list. For more information, see also TUWEL.

PRESENCE DUTY is valid for the preliminary discussion (currently in the form of a ZOOM Meeting), by prevention absolutely by mail (mertz@ift.at) on time answer give otherwise the practise place gets lost, the place will award to StudentenInnen from the waiting list. Join the ZOOM Meeting waiting room in a timely manner!

The training days are already allocated before or immediately after the preliminary meeting. This can be generally or up to 2 days later on TUWEL. Currently, the training schedule is sent with the invitation data of the ZOOM meeting before the preliminary meeting.
