After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • to familiarize themselves with current questions regarding the modelling of the human musculoskeletal system;
  • compile the relevant literature;
  • summarise the essential contents and present them to their colleagues.

Subject of course

Current research topics in the field of modelling the human musculoskeletal system.

Teaching methods

Partially in the first part of the seminar researches and clinitians present current problems of the human locomotor system in introductory lectures. In the second part each of the participants has to prepare a presentation of a biomechanical problem based on current literature.

Depending on possible restrictions due to the pandemic the format of the lecture can be changed to "hybrid" and/or "online".
