After successful completion of the course, students are able to...
Hydraulic power systems, electric power systems, pneumatic power systems (bleed air), flight control systems, actuators, air conditioning, landing gear system, fuel systems, avionics systems, de-icing systems, system safety, fault tolerance, standards
Lecture with the aim of providing students with a basic understanding of the cause-effect relationships of design and quality parameters. Demonstration of the correlations by means of animated diagrams (applets). Use of media (video sequences, educational films).
In the exercise parts, students are taught to independently carry out designs and calculations of aviation-specific systems.
Lecture part: Oral or written exam Exercise part: Submission of exercise protocols on the exercise tasks
Basic knowledge of mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and control engineering. Aviation-specific prior knowledge is an advantage.
