Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to measure tribology relevant measurement Parameters such as friction and wear. In Addition, students will learn the Basic principles of the respective measurement devices.

Subject of course

Knowledge about Basic Tasks and methods in the field of friction and wear measurements; specific knowledge about sensors used in tribology.

Teaching methods

In the context of the lecture, applications from industry will be discussed and exemplary calculations performed.
