Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • take measurements (pressure, flow, torque, speed and more) on hydraulic machinery (pumps and turbines) at a test facility
  • create QH and NPSH characteristics based on measurements
  • determine the efficiency of a Pelton turbine based on taken measurements
