Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to numerically simulate real fluid mechanical problems as well as to give an overview of the methods used in private and educational facilities.

Subject of course

Methods for a treatment of convection-diffusion equations, projection methods for incompressible and compressible Navier-Stokes equations, treatment of complex geomtries, turbulence modelling.
