After successful completion of the course, students are able to display room sequences. They are sensitized for spatial perception and the recognition of room markings. They are also able to work out a reduction on room-marking elements.

In modification to the global artmovement, the reproduction of locations and scenes, the TU-course „Urban Sketching“ should give you a sensitization for perception of space and  identification of spacemarks, reduction to essential spacemarks. Freehand drawing, sketches on the location should show simple sequences of space.

Sketches on site (freehand drawings) shall be used to illustrate sequences of rooms. In this way, feelings and moods triggered by places and spaces are to be captured by means of simple sketches.

Material:

As material is a simple sketch-block size A3 and pencil (No. HB, 2B) adequate. If you want you also can use coloured pencil, marker, pens, ball-pens, …!

Submission of a portfolio containing at least 10 drawings (A3 format) collected in a folder.
