After successful completion of the course, students are able to give an overview of the spatial planning schools in Europe and to illustrate the European dimension of planners curriclulums. Futhermore they will collect knowledge and experiences from the planning practice.
We are looking for the Mata Haris, Lawrence of Arabias, Hans Lodys, Jules C. Silbers and Elisabeth Schragmüllers of spatial planning.
This course is linked with the AESOP Heads of School Meeting in Vienna/March 2020. Before we would like to learn more about spatial planning education in Europe and get a picture of it. Your task is to visit one AESOP partner school and to fulfil the following tasks:- An interview with a teacher- An interview with a student- An interview with a graduate- Factbox for the curriculum- Portrait of a student project- Photo of the planning school and floor plan- ….
In preparation for the visits, the joint structure is worked out (interview guidelines, facts and figures, specifications for documentation, layout, ...). The participants themselves are responsible for the organisation of the visits. The results will be summarised in a workshopoutline for the AESOP Heads of School meeting (Vienna, March 2020), a publication and exhibition.
