After successful completion of the course, students are able to submit a diploma / master thesis, dealing with a topic associated to law and informatics, which has been written in strict conformity with the rules to ensure good scientific practice.
Presentation of new scientific literature and of judicial decisions as well as of tendencies in the field of legal policy as to data and information law. Presentation and profound discussion of the results of work on the diploma / master thesis. Peer review by means of delivering a written opinion as a so-called "advocatus diaboli".
The seminar is held online: TUWEL-course and online meetings; structured guidance for writing the diploma / master thesis; intensive subject-specific and interdisciplinary discourse (within the group of students as well as within single coaching sessions); peer review.
The overall performance of the participating students is assessed continuously.
