After successful completion of the course, students are able to carry out an socio-spatial investigation and reflect the findings with regard to the theoretical inputs on space, discussed in the seminar 280.171
In accordance with the other two LVAs the content is placed on methodological and practical implementations in this seminar.
As part of the seminar , the analysis of social space will serve as a basis to investigate places and spaces in practice and analytical work through the various levels of social area analysis. So the theoretical knowledge from the VO and the SE theorie of space are implemented at the application level , while the roles and functions of socio-political actors (as well as the role of planers ) are reflected. The ratio of finished buildings, social space is demonstrated by at least developed four levels of analysis of social space ( 1 space delimitation and space definition ; 2 Structural profile ( administration-)spaces ; 3 Infrastructural inventory ; 4 exploring the life and use of space ) .
Special methods for the homework are discussed , which should also be applied in the context of the integrated seminar paper ( visual methods , experiments crisis | interventions , interviews, observations , maps).
Die Lehrveranstaltung hat prüfungsimmanenten Charakter; Anwesenheit und verbindliche aktive Teilnahme sind erforderlich, einmaliges Fehlen ist gestattet.
Zu erbringen sind Teilleistungen, die sich aus dem Forschungsprozess ergeben sowie ein schriftlicher Endbericht im Umfang von 6 - 8 Seiten.
