After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognize and analyze (school) spatial potential and to develop creative design input and artistic-architectural implementation proposals for different (school) event formats and settings.
The course is part of the FFG-funded "Innovation Lab for Educational Spaces in Motion - Bib-Lab" of the Arbeitsraum Bildung of the TU Wien (www.arbeitsraumbildung.at). In the course of the three-year research project, innovative design concepts for existing schools will be developed and exemplarily tested in the area of the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung, in addition to participation and networking processes.
Using methods of improvisation, design ideas for temporarily usable school event settings are developed.
Input-lectures, best practice research, idea workshop, discussion and reflection sessions, improvisational design, 1:1 implementation, interim and final presentation

Im Falle einer geänderten Corona-Situation kann es zu Änderungen des Formats kommen (z.B. Umstieg auf reines Distance-Learning).
The total LVA quota is 62.5 hours: 1 EC = 25 semester hours, which have to be completed as work during the semester. I.e. outside of the common LVA times on Thursday, of course, additional work has to be done.
The two BiB-Lab-Stegreifentwerfen (LVA-Nr. 264.229 and LVA-Nr. 264.230) are part of the overall BiB-Lab project and are closely coordinated in terms of organization so that they can be taken in combination.
Participants who wish to complete both impromptu throws will be given priority.
