After successful completion of the course, students are able to use the technical and creative possibilities of the camera. This also includes the handling of the large format camera with the special use in the architecture photography.

The content of the course is the historical development of photography, its technical foundations both in the analogue and the digital domain, and how they are to be applied in the design and conception of a picture.

The architectural, photographic and creative process is described and implemented on site. This includes the choice of the location, the influence of the light and then the calculation of the necessary data for the correct development of the negative.

Alternatively, the course "258.033 (VU) Architectural and Model Photography / Object Photography, Video - Object Photography" can be attended.

A maximum of 25 persons can participate in the LVA.

Registrations will be considered in the order of receipt.

!!! COVID-19: If, due to requirements of the federal government or the Vienna University of Technology, it is not possible to hold the course and the examination or the partial performances in presence, the online format will be used. By changing to the online format, the dates announced for the face-to-face course and examination (partial performances) may change. In the event of a change to the online format, the course will be held via zoom meetings and the examination mode will take the form of an oral final presentation.

Active participation is required in the practical part of the exercise. In addition, photographic tasks are provided, which serve as a basis for discussion.
