Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze planning-relevant interrelationships between built structures and their spatial and their spatial integration in the urban and landscape context in their entirety and evaluate them. Through the in-depth examination of different analytical, methodological and technical skills in dealing with open spaces. skills in dealing with open space are developed. Subject of course

A contemporary understanding of planning does not reduce architecture to the built object alone but tries to understand and develop spatial structures in their entirety and urban context in their entirety. Buildings and open space form a unity. In the lectures, students learn about theoretical landscape questions as well as concrete design tasks, a holistic understanding of architecture, landscape of architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning is developed and promoted. In the module subjects there is an intensive examination of aspects of open space planning, both in a scientific and theoretical discourse, as well as in the theoretical discourse, as well as in various practical exercises.
