After successful completion of the course, students are able to author reports on scientific or technical topics.
Students research the state-of-the-art in a topic of choice related to Design Computing/Building Informatics. Potential topics include: visualization/human computer interaction, design databases, design optimization, performance simulation, collaborative design, parametric design, rapid prototyping, ubiquitous computing, building automation. Results are documented in written form. The final document may be structured as follows: 1) Cover with title/author 2) Table of contents (including pages) 2) Introduction/motivation into the field/work 3) Background/developments 4) Survey of the state-of-the-art 5) Open issues/outlook 6) References 7) Glossary Submission in pdf format (A4) via TUWEL Language: German or English
