After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• develop an architectural design by considering context and background as well as specific aspects of the given design task, such as hierarchies of space, orientation, appropriateness balance of nature and architecture, dimensions, proportions, construction and materials.
• understand architecture as an immersive spatial experience.

The Mystery House is a place of transformation. Based on a specific narrative, the designed sequence of interior and exterior spaces creates different sensations and moods, physical and emotional effects. The immersive spatial experience leaves the visitor changed.

Storyboard, type and location of the house are individually selected and argued.  Linking the metaphorical idea of transformation with the development of an architectural design enable the understanding of architecture as a means of transformation.
