After successful completion of the course, students are able to get an insight into the practice and the methods of production in solid construction.
First steps into scientific work.
The focus is on the interaction between material selection and material application as well as the architectural, technical and ecological requirements.
Apart from the architectural and technical aspects, interdisciplinary questions and economic perspectives are dealt. Criteria for sustainability in large-volume massive buildings are also given.
Inventory analysis and documentation.
Through the analytical analysis of realized buildings, scientific working methods are learned and trained.
Writing a seminar paper, public presentation of the results in the form of a short speech.
