After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognise and reflect on connections in urban and architectural production and transformation processes in the visited city. Through the exchange with students of the cooperating architecture faculty, they will practice communicating their own knowledge and putting it up for discussion.

The excursion complements the course content of the design studio "EXISTENZMAXIMUM Palace of Un/Learning" and confronts the students with other settings / hegemonic structures in architectural practice and teaching/learning.

Participation only makes sense and is only possible if the design studio is attended at the same time.

In order to do justice to the nature of the accompanying design studio, there will be decidedly different formats of spatial exploration and exchange: the Dérive, the Camp, walking salon, getting lost & found, FAQ frequently ask questions!

The certificate of achievement is based on the participation in the excursion and the active engagement in visits, discussions and reflections.
