After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently write a scientific paper. They have an overview of suitable research methods in the field of architecture and are able to formulate research questions. They have learned to formulate scientific arguments and are able to articulate themselves in different text formats.
Start date 7.3., 9:30, location to be announced. Supervision on Mon mornings.

Every health system is characterised by permanent change. Since changes used to happen slowly and over longer periods of time, they were often not noticed by those affected. Currently, however, we are in the midst of a serious, almost exponential change in the health care system.
These new factors and also the decreasing possibility of financing the construction and operation of large high-tech / high-med hospitals have for years been leading to a shift from the inpatient to the outpatient sector and at the same time to a decentralisation of health care facilities. In the seminar we will deal with these "outpatient" facilities with the following focus:
The method of the seminar is to write a scientific paper of approx. 30,000 characters (without appendix) on the basis of independent research. Possible subtopics include e.g:
- Outpatient facilities in the "Red Vienna".
- Primary Healthcare systemic: Austria, federal level / state level / policies >> Relation to architecture, spatial planning
- Primary Healthcare Buildings Austria
- Primary Healthcare buildings internationally
Due to the Corona pandemic changes in the organisation of the seminar may occur.
