Getting to know the instruments and tools for planning practice. Discussion of the job profile of the architect with regard to his/her self-image as a generalist, service provider or specialist or as a partner in the planning process. Investigation of the ecological, economic and socio-cultural qualities of a building. Presentation of principles and methods for reducing the energy consumption of our buildings. Presentation of alternative construction methods, constructive and material-technical new and further developments with regard to their importance for the sustainability and economic efficiency in the construction, operation and maintenance of structures and buildings.Deepening of basic knowledge about materials and materials, their behavior and joining principles with the involvement of professionals from construction and planning practice. Overview and discussion of guidelines, regulations, standards and norms in construction and their impact on planning practice.
