After successful completion of the course, students are able to find answers to the relevant questions of the future of living, and to take this critical approach as a starting point for their design practice.
The open questions of the future and the resulting different views on living as one of the core issues of human existence are presented and critically discussed.
In 10 lectures, different positions and inputs on the future of housing will be conveyed. After each lecture, students have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the topics presented. In a final written and visual examination of a research question on one of the lectures, the students are to reflect on the content conveyed and transfer it into their own position.
The lecture will be held live on Zoom in distance learning mode.

Each student is randomly assigned a research question for one of the lectures.
In a first part of the text (3,000 characters incl. spaces), this research question is to be reflected upon and answered.
In a second part of the text (1,700 characters incl. spaces), the student should develop his/her own "visionary" position on the research question. A graphic representation of this vision (free, e.g. collage) should support the own thoughts pictorially.
The focus of the grading is on the assessment of the written part of the assignment.
