After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

use critical analysis as a tool,

use discussion of general urban planning guidelines,

implement  a specific urban strategie,

implement his urban design skills,

optimise visualization and presentation.

An essential course content is the confrontation with situations in urban areas, urban peripheries or in rural areas. The design includes a critical analysis of the stock, the discussion of general urban planning guidelines, the design of site-specific development strategies, the development of urban designs, as well as their visualization and presentation. The planning debate of the scales of regional and urban planning on the issues of typologies extends to the urban design detail.
