The topic of the Cultural Spaces module in the summer semester 2022 is

A new townscape protection concept for Bad Aussee

In cooperation with representatives of the municipality of Bad Aussee, the history of the town, the existing townscape protection concept and the necessity of revising it will be discussed and intensive documentation of the existing situation will be carried out. On the basis of these investigations, ideas for new impulses for the protection of the townscape and at the same time possible further development of the village will be developed.

The content of this course is the research of the attributes of the cultural identity of Bad Aussee. The Attribute Mapping concept is explained in detail and documented in detail using objects in the town. The study serves as a basis for ideas for the reorientation of the existing townscape protection measures.
