After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyse to analyse the architectural history from antiquity to the 18th century on the basis of an overview of important exponents, buildings, currents and problems in the context of cultural-historical aspects.

With help of examples in art and architecture a survey will bi given spanning from the Ancient World until the 18th century.

The lecture is posted weekly on TUWEL, the handouts and pictures are also posted on TUWEL for the respective lecture. Important, the lecture must be subscribed to by the students in order to have TUWEL access.

CONCERNING EXAMS:

The first exam for the lecture will take place in January 2022. For this purpose, an examination date will be set up in December, for the registration to the examination. From SS 22 onwards, there will always be three examination dates per semester. At the moment the exams take place in written form via ZOOM, the ZOOM link will be posted on TUWEL in time, as well as the information about the exam procedure.
