After successful completion of the course, students are able to prepare the work tools for collaborative work, work on writing for publishing concepts and use related software and workflows in the preparation of the final result.
The results of the building history building research module are to be worked out in more depth and upgraded to a level ready for publication. The aim should be to process and publish the always very exciting results from the module in a joint online or print publication with the participation of students and teachers.
This semester is about the revision of the research results on the Mausoleo Campo Barbarico on the Via Latina in Rome. The existing documentation will be adapted to the basic laws of the publication of research results. In addition to grammatical and content corrections of existing scientific texts in short and long versions, work is being done on adapting the planning documentation in Adobe Illustrator. All results are organized into a live document using the Indesign book feature, which can be edited by multiple users at the same time. The students are challenged to develop the necessary techniques of cooperation in a team and to take care of the organization and distribution of all tasks within the group.
