After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently acquire in-depth background knowledge, assess the relevance and validity of scientific theses and create suitable forms of representation of research results for poster presentations.
The course "Projektseminar und Seminarwerkstatt" is coordinated with the seminar of the "Modul Architektur- und Kunstgeschichte" and is intended to enable the module participants to deepen their knowledge by working together on background knowledge and to provide a forum for joint discussions on the respective semester topic as well as on their own seminar work. The students develop their skills in the critical analysis of historical buildings and sources as well as through joint reading discussions.
Together we develop and analyze basic ideas and concepts from the topics of architectural history, architectural theory and visual arts in reading assignments and in the context of excursions to exemplary architectures and collections.
In addition, the students are supported in transferring the results of their work from the "Vertiefungsseminar" to a short publication format that is planned as a final joint publication for the end of the modul.
