After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
- name problems in the field of construction operations
- compile important information of complex construction projects
- write an excursion report

Registration modalities:
Registration against deposit is only possible at the secretariat of the Institute (Karlsplatz 13/235-1, 1040 Vienna; room AE EG 05). Email enquiries regarding online registration cannot be considered.
Registration is possible on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 09:00 to 12:00.
Students on the waiting list will be informed about possible participation after the registration deadline.
Excursion 1: 1-day excursion to S31 Sieggraben
Date: May 23, 2024
Meeting Point: 07:40 at Wiedner Hauptstraße 1, 1040 Vienna
Program:
- Excursion to S31 construction sites in Sieggraben;
- Construction of four new bridges with 11,500 meters of bored piles & 37,000 m³ of concrete;
- Discussion on alternative contract models for high-risk projects;
- Sustainability, reuse of excavation material, recycling of concrete;
- Ecological construction site supervision.
Equipment: Safety shoes, hard hat, high-visibility vest
Deposit: €20 per person (to be refunded upon participation)
End: Approximately 15:00
Registration by May 16, 2024, at the IBB Secretariat (AE EG 05). Travel for students is free of charge.
