After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

• describe the management of construction projects,
• reproduce approaches to cost and schedule planning,
• reproduce approaches to project organization,
• describe the main project participants, their tasks and their interactions, and
• reproduce approaches to personnel management.

The methods used to achieve the learning outcomes are:

• Lecture with the possibility to pose questions
• Elaboration of a seminar paper
• Self-study

In order to participate in the seminar, attendance at the first lecture unit is required. If registered students do not appear at the first lecture session, they will be deregistered from the seminar. Students on the waiting list who are present will be moved up to any places that become available.

2. Seminar paper
3. Presentation of the seminar paper incl. final discussion

In order to complete the seminar positively, all three performance certificates must be completed positively on their own. Constructive cooperation during the presentation units can have a positive effect on the overall assessment.

The presenters' materials will be made available for download.

This is a course for advanced students. Basic knowledge of cost and schedule planning as well as construction economics and construction project management is helpful.
