  • Acquisition of construction projects (incl. calculation, tendering, financing)
  • Planning the construction process
  • Preparation of construction site
  • Time scheduling (e.g. lean management)
  • Personnel resource scheduling
  • Machinery resource scheduling
  • Site installation (planning basic elements of installation, examples of installation)
  • Technical construction operation on site (concrete processing and workmanship, earthworks)
  • Economic construction operation on site (commercial issues, quantities and billing etc.)
  • Examples of special construction sites (technical building equipment, bridges, civil engineering and infrastructure, robotics etc.)

Teaching methods

The methodological structure of this LVA is as follows:

Examination modalities

Proof of performance is due to the presence in the lectures (20 points), exercises (35 points), exercise exam (45 points), reflection paper (30 points) and (final) written exam (120 points). In total 250 points can be reached.

To participate in the (final) written exam, the following criteria must be met:

  • Attendance at the first lecture date. A non-appearance leads to deregistration from the LVA
  • at least 80% attendance at lectures
  • At least 65 points reached (out of attendance, excercises, exercise exam and reflection paper)
  • Every exercise has to be submitted in time
  • Participation in excercise exam and at least 22 out of 45 possible points (duration: 60 min, use of non-programable calculator)
  • Reflection paper submitted in time

After the first performance, the participation in the course is binding. Thus, an assessment is made at the end of the course.
